Overview
About Me
At the end of college, I felt a call to adventure: a declaration from my depths to go out into the unknown, both within myself and out into the great big world. I begun my journey into the mystery and magic of finding myself and my unique place in this world by joining the Peace Corps… and this is just the beginning!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This journey of life finds meaning in creating relationships with the many beautiful people one meets and places one stays. The world today is sorely lacking true connection, and the best way to do that is by finding community wherever you are! I hope by couch surfing I can meet like-minded people, who also believe that life is about sharing moments with others; talking, laughing, eating...living!
Interests
Spending every moment of my life feeling alive, chasing down the things that scare and awe me the most ;)
But to be more specific: reading under mango trees, gardening and being in the dirt, whistling happy songs, making things for myself and others, dancing like a madwoman, cooking creative concoctions, camp fires (& all that comes with them), spontaneous adventures, writing, playing silly jokes on my friends...

Music, Movies, and Books
I love music of all kinds, but especially music that is LIVE and makes me feel ALIVE! My favorite artist though would of course have to be my sister, Tiger Rose.
I'm often listening to Rising Appalachia, Nahko & Medicine for the People, Paul Simon, Ben Howard, Xavier Rudd, Slightly Stoopid, Cat Stevens, Citizen Cope, Jack Johnson, The Dirty Heads, Paul Simon... music with some thought and soul, anything that makes me feel good!
Lately I've really enjoyed reading Charles Eisenstein, Masanobu Fukuoka, and books by people that might have been their friends in another place or lifetime :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
dropping my entire life to move to a remote island in the middle of the South Pacific for 2 years
Teach, Learn, Share
Lets share stories, books, laughs and adventures :)
I'd also love to learn more about permaculture, ukulele playing, transition towns/time exchanges, foreign cuisines, traveling on a budget ... just about anything.
