Hey everyone. New to this site have recently been made redundant from my job and so taking advantage of the time and money and going to invest in some adventures.

The first being a cycle across America from Boston to San Francisco. Really looking for some help along the way so please reach out to me if you see me passing!

I was born in England and love to travel and stay fit, seeing new countries and meeting new people is my passion. I prefer travelling alone as it forces you out and about to meet people rather than stay by a pool or in a bar. Prefer dogs to cats and my favorite color is blue. Never sure what to say on these things but love a proper chat in person over a cup of tea or a whiskey and coke.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Brand new to this site as am cycling across America for charity. I'll be starting in Boston and finishing in San Francisco and my friend told me about this site.

It looks perfect for what I'm after, I want to meet and get to know people, share stories and adventures (or sometimes just find a bed or sofa to get some well needed sleep on).

I love the reciprocity of it as well, so when back in England I can meet others who are travelling by sharing my home with then. It makes life one big gun travelling adventure and life is far too short!
