I am passionate about music, and teaching it to students of all age. I teach FUSE Street Drumming (Bucket Drumming).

My business is Ministry of Rhythm, with three staff, and working 200 students throughout Tauranga in New Zealand. Im in the process of growing things, so I can branch out to other cities close by, and eventually go nationwide :)

This takes up most of my time. It is my passion and focus. I love seeing kids gain confidence in gaining rhythm skills in class and then performing in front of their peers.

I have travelled to Australia and Indonesia, but I want to see so much more. My business is going to help me travel the world!

I am on a limited budget, so couch surfing sounds like good idea from a financial point of view, though I intend of paying my way by providing my own meals etc, unless the people I meet want to provide a cultural meal for me.

But more importantly, I really would like to meet and connect with locals in the areas that I travel to. For example, in April this year I am travelling to Mexico to work with kids in orphanages and organisations to demonstrate and teach bucket drumming, which I call FUSE.

Interessi

I love music, and particularly drumming. I spend more time drumming on a bucket than I do a drum kit simply as this is where my focus is with teaching.

I enjoy making music videos with students, and editing in general. I have done a fair bit of video editing over the years, especially when working in TV, directing and filming TV shows to put on air.

I have a vision for my business. First of all branching out to other cities and nationwide, and then using it a ministry, a tool to reach out orphans and street kids in need. Beginning with Mexico, and then other Latin American countries, and potentially over my lifetime, Europe and Africa as well.

I do want to make a difference in the world. I can't change the world, but I can make a difference in the lives of those that I can reach out by using music/rhythm to inspire hope and possibilities to kids.

Musica, film e libri

Pop, Rock, R&B, Soul, Funk, some rap and electronica. LOVE orchestral especially movie soundtracks, Trailerhead, 2 Steps from Hell, E.S. Posthumus.

Love a lot of movies. I want to make a movie one day, but I'm starting with music videos, documentaries, short films before I get to the big one.

Braveheart, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Inception, The Dark Knight, mostly action and adventure, but also true stories that are inspirational and motivating.

Really want to record peoples stories via documentaries, scripts and movies. This is another area I am extremely passionate about but Im satisfied that this will come a little later, as I have to grow my business and mission work overseas before I can put time into this.

I don't read much thought I would love to. Work keeps me distracted with only enough time to do so much and usually not reading unfortunately. I trying to make some time for this!

Been on stage in front of 25 thousand people, with world famous artist Toby Mac performing at the Parachute Music Festival!

Almost drowned four times, two of those times saving kids from drowning. Kinda experienced life flashing past me as I contemplated the end...

Co-directed, Produced, and Edited an educational TV show that aired on TV.

Created a unique music business, Ministry of Rhythm, in New Zealand teaching bucket drumming. There is no one else in New Zealand doing what I do, and I love that!

I can teach drumming skills to all ages. I have compassion for the poor and needy. I have more than they have. I'm not rich ,but I see needs and believe we have part to play on this earth.

As a Christian I believe God has a purpose for my life, and I feel that my trip to Mexico is a pretty big part of the next step which I'm pretty excited about. Bring it on

I can share about my country, culture, and life experience.

I have interests in social interests, poverty, humanitarianism, people, kids, music, positive and motivational stories, movies.

I like to be positive, because life can be pretty fought sometimes, but you got to look the good in life and people. I believe there is always a silver lining in every situation.

I like to embrace new situations and experiences, as it is often challenging and can test my comfort zone and give me understanding and knowledge of new cultures and people.

The world is an open book for us all, if we choose to read it.
