Hi!

Im Carl Zurhorst, 28 year old pro videographer and performer from NYC!

Originally went to school for mechanical and aerospace engineering but ended up in the performing arts and acting. I’ve since studied acting at William Esper Studios/Guildhall School of Music and Drama/Bristol Old Vic Theatre School (where Daniel Day Lewis and Patrick Stewart Studied!).

Now I live in New York City and do acting and directing work while also filming music videos and doing cinematography for dancers.

I’m always eager for adventure, travel, extreme sports, culture and music, and especially skiing. I love couchsurfing and the people I’ve met through it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I LOVE TO TRAVEL. I'm and energetic and it doesn't take much to satisfy me in terms of accommodation. Sometimes all I need is a yoga mat and a shower and I'm all set. Trying to explore and meet new people!

Books are always changing, reading a lot of plays recently.

Movits, Kygo, any funk, any jazz, Banks, Hozier, The 1975, Odesza, Frank Sinatra, Dillon Francis, Scott Alan, Run the Jewels, I listen to all sorts of Genres.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have a world record in cross country skiing! ...and I've performed as spiderman at the white house with Obama handing out candy to kids for halloween!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to ski or ride a bicycle! Or sing! I'm decent at cooking and have a ton of stories to share :)
