ABOUT ME

I'm a 27 year old swedish Biologist. I live and breathe it, spending as much time as I can outdoors learning about the beautiful world we live in. The elaborate matrix of the billions of organisms that coexist on this planet fascinate me, and I plan to spend the rest of my life learning about and experiencing this diversity. I hope to work with nature conservation in the future. In my free time I enjoy the things most other people enjoy: Good food; good movies, games (video and board) and music; spending time with the people I love.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

During 2012 and 2013 me and my wife were out traveling and WWOOFing (see www.wwoof.org), mostly southern Spain and the Caribbean. We couchsurfed with a number of hosts and had fantastic experiences! Now we want to give something back to the community, and are offering a couch here in Uppsala.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to loads of different things, but if I had to pick three artists to listen to the rest of my life it'd have to be Nick Drake, Elliott Smith and Andrew Bird. So many good movies out there, but i guess anything by Hayao Miyazaki. For books a favourite author would have to be Kurt Vonnegut.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching an Osprey as it hunted fish at a nearby lake from a watch tower. After catching a fish, it flew right by my tower, so close that i could identify the species of fish (it was a common rudd)!
