About Me
I am Carla (20) and I study Integrated Design - which more or less combines every aspect and discipline of design and art (photography, fashion, industrial design, graphics, layout, pottery,...) Currently I started travelling on my own. I enjoy drifting from place to place. I like to discover new things and to get to know new people. I think that travelling on your own is a great opportunity to grow and to feel free. Still a place, a meal, music,... most things are even more beautiful if one shares them with friends. Meeting new people on my travels with whom I can share this beauty is my biggest plan for my travels.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I had the feeling that it is time to travel in a new way.
What I've learned from traveling is that you can feel home everywhere. You only have to be open-minded and curious to learn new things and to meet interesting people. Moreover, as a good friend of mine uses to say, you always have the possibility to decide whether you watch the sunset/ sunrise or whether you don't. Its your decision if you see the beauty in the small things or not. The only thing you have to do is to go through life with opened eyes.
Traveling for me is more about learning new things, discovering new ways of living, exchanging thoughts and ideas, learning from each other, from different cultures and backgrounds. Especially when staying in a place only for a few days I normally find it very hard to meet people from that place or to get the real feeling of a place if you stay at an hotel or airbnb.

Teach, Learn, Share
I play the violoncello and also some other instruments a little bit and love to play music together (I play in a folk band). We could play some music together. I am a big flea market fan and can tell/ show you about the best ones in Bremen/ Berlin. And I am a good flea market companion :)
I can show you some good recipes (not so much the typical german kitchen). I can teach you German. I can show you how to sew and how to do several other art stuff.
