Hello! My name is Carla, I am 27 years old and I was borne in Vila do Conde, a small village in the north of Portugal. Since I was very little, probably as I grew up in a small town, I dreamed of traveling the world and meeting other people and cultures. At the age of 18, I moved to Coimbra where I studied Journalism and Communication. During that time, I have had the opportunity to meet people from all over the world, which has reinforced my desire to have experience across borders.
In 2017, I found the European Voluntary Service, and I was sure that it was perfect for my life: volunteering in another country as well as having the opportunity to learn another language was exactly what I wanted.
Nowadays, I can say that I am very happy to have been accepted in this project, in which is baseline is found on European values.
