About Me
Hi guys, it's me, Carla;)
Right now I am on my next adventure; hitchhiking trough the Balkans. Since I got free for one month I chosed a slow way of traveling to hopefully get in contact with lots of people.
I'm an open-minded, easy-going person, patient, mostly optimistic and mindful of the people around me.
Spending time in nature, doing yoga or being creative in cooking and crafting energises me. I also enjoy cycling, hiking, surfing, gardening.
I see myself as highly responsible for protecting our environment and try to do my best.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travell around and discover new places, but I figuered out for myself that I prefere to have a look under the surface and get to know some locals, and get to know the places they might like. I see couchsurfing as a great opportunity to connect and to get back to a simple and personal way of accomadation.

Music, Movies, and Books
Since I lived in Portugal the music I listen to is inspired a lot by portuguese and brasilien songwriters like os trincoas, jonathan silva and nanan, beside that I listen to AnnenMayKantareit, Jason Mraz, some jazz, some classic, some reggae
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
To avoid the fast way of travelling, I found myself hitchhiking from Portugal back to Germany. Before, I couldn't imagine how this would work with a surfboard and a tent. But then I met so many supportive people who showed me how simple solutions can be and really made me believe in the good.
Teach, Learn, Share
For me travelling is very much an exchange of energy. Wherever you go you leave something and you take something with you. I am curious to learn whatever you want to share. I like to share my time and a good meal.
