Overview
About Me
Hello theree My name is Carla, Im 19 years old, taking a year off college to have some time for myself and do the things Ive always wanted to do. I live with my parents in Lima and have an older sister (she is a couch surfer as well). Ive lived in Cajamarca for most of my life and recently moved to Lima (I have a house in Cajamarca and a 2 bed- apartment in Lima and can host in both) I'm very outgoing, always wanting to help anyone that might need me and very passionate supporting several causes (usually human and animal right causes- btw I LOOOVE dogs). People say Im very honest, straightforward and practical.Plus, I'm very open minded, adaptable and love hearing different perspectives on different subjects.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that couchsurfing is a portal to have a true and desinterested connection with other people. I believe that we are all brothers from the same race, the human race and that we should all collaborate, support and interact with each other as ONE. While I was growing up in Cajamarca, my family hosted many foreign brothers from Canada and Europe. We built very strong and unique bonds with all of them and I ,personally, loved having and attending them there. I've learned so much from interacting with and being there for others that if I could to that for a living I'd be rich. I'm ready for anyone who has questions about Peruvian culture and also very excited to share its history and places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well This is a hard question, specially because I feel like I've lived so many amazing experiences and still do. But if I had to choose one will be when I was in the Iguazu Falls and there was a tremendous heat and there was the fall's throat and I was standing there looking down from 1km up with all the cool water splashing on me. It was a feeling of vertigo mixed with calmness. It was intense and liberating.
