About Me

I am a Brazilian woman and I love traveling, meeting new places and new people. While I was in college (business administration) I did a work experience program for 4 months in the USA working as a hostess of a restaurant in Vermont. Then I worked in the Brazilian financial market and at IBM until I went on a public tender for The Brazilian Development Bank in 2010. I have always traveled a lot during vacations, to Europe, America and Asia, and now I'm on a sabatic year, so I'd love to stay in different places with local people and share our experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Its a nice way to meet new people and new places! I think it's a good experience for both! Save some money during a trip is interesting but the opportunity to see how people really live in that city is amazing!

Comedy films and romantic comedy to make life lighter! But I also like action and drama movies! Examples: Rhe Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, Intouchables, Inside Out, Patch Adams, etc.

Now I am reading books about Mindfulness, Meditation and Buddhism.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have just travelled to India and I did a silence course. It was great to meet this totally different culture and to have some time to reflect and to know myself better. The interaction with the Indians and especially with the kids during this trip was amazing. Even if you can not exchange words you can always exchange feelings and emotions.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn different things so anything new will interest me. I already did a lot of different activities in my life such as muay thai lessons, yoga, bachata and zouk dancing, stand up paddle, ski, french lessons, volunter work! And I think one of the best things about couchsurfing is the possibility of share! People should share more nowadays!
