Overview
About Me
I’m someone who wishes to see e feel what’s in this world, to make discoveries. I believe that meeting people and places is the most amazing way to make that dream become real.
I love photography and what it can allow you to see through it!
I am a feminist. So it's obvious, but I'll make it clearer: I do not like racist, homophobic and sexist people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I see Couchsurfing as an incomparable and unprecedented opportunity to learn and live. I want to see the daily life of cities, the genuineness of people and taste the flavor of your typical food and drinks.
Interests
I like everything that brings good feelings. Invite me to a conversation, to a pub, to a park or square surrounded by nature, to listen to music or to cook a nice meal for us. If you have patience with my begginer’s English and Spanish, or if you want to learn or practice Portuguese, I’m always open to new friendships!

Music, Movies, and Books
I know a lot about brazilian literature and music, so I can introduce you to forró, samba, bossa nova (such as Girl From Ipanema and other songs), axé, sertanejo (our country music), funk, rock and so it goes. I would love to learn about your local music as well. Cinema wise, I like dramas, thrillers, movies based in real stories and documentaries.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
An incredible experience that really impressed me was a party called Cervejada, in Viçosa, a university town in the countryside of Minas Gerais. At this party, everybody just wants to enjoy themselves and drink beer. At this party, people don’t worry about appearances, clothes or make up, which is a big exception to most Brazilian parties. Every year, everybody gets filthy and covered in mud. It was amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m still trying to discover a manual or artistic ability, so, in that way, I don’t have anything to share. But I can promise to be good company. I’d love to go sightseeing with you and see your city through your eyes. Or hangout to show you my city.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I know how to prepare caipirinha (lemon and cachaça brazilian drink). I’d also like to have some beer, wine or some typical drink. I’d love to have a nice talk while cooking something tasty. If the subject is social contradictions, feminism and diversity of people, I could talk for hours! I can also cook a brazilian sweet called “brigadeiro”. It’s very sweet and you’ll probably love it. In Brasil we say brigadeiro “é de lamber os beiços”, which means something like “will make your mouth water”. My home state, Minas Gerais, is famous because of “mineiro cheese”. When you come to Brazil, I can also show it to you. See you latter!
