About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Living life to the fullest and exploring and experiencing all I can.
ABOUT ME
People who know me best would probably mention my dance moves or my obsession with romance novels. I'm outdoorsy and my bike tends to accompany me whenever possible. I love my crazy dog Rico, a high-spirited and overly photographed Maltese-poodle mix. Food, drink, music, and laughter are my fundamentals for any good time.
PHILOSOPHY
"Be the change you wish to see." ~ M. Gandhi
"Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail." ~ Bear Grylls
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm pretty much an oil field gypsy when it comes to my work. I'm always on the move and living out of hotels on a spur of the moment basis. With CouchSurfing, I can meet new people and get a local perspective on things.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Tasmania was my first CS experience with my friend, Joy. LOVED IT! We were both virgins to CS and had no expectations when landing in Hobart. We not only hit the jackpot of fun, but our host, Byron, hooked us up with Halloween costumes and we had a blast at a house party ringing in my favorite holiday.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love LIVE MUSIC! I have eclectic taste anything from reggae to hip hop to country, rock, pop, and electronic. I tend to migrate toward the romance novels, but I dig books that keep you guessing and turning the pages as fast as you can to find out what happens next. Movies are a must! I'm a sucker for a good mafia flick. The Big Lebowski, Pulp Fiction, Zoolander, Your Highness... all classics.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in Brisbane, Australia for a while and got back to basics as a waitress. Funny how after 5 years of school (ok 5 1/2) I always come back to my perfected talents of getting people drunk. I explored the Land of OZ for a year and scored a herd of amazing friends and experienced a whole lot of firsts.
Before the Land of OZ, I lived on Saipan, a crazy tropical island in the Pacific, largest of the Northern Mariana Islands, and commonwealth of the USA. I taught 8th graders CNMI history, government, and economics... something I knew nothing about until the night before teaching it. It was INTENSE!! I think I'm still in recovery.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm aspiring to learn Spanish and I'd like to learn how to play my ukulele too.
