ABOUT ME

I am a 32 year old teacher who has just set up shop in Barrie Ontario. I am originally from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia in Canada. I spent a year and a half in Europe and am now waiting patiently until my next whirlwind adventure begins:)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted and surfed in the past but am currently looking to meet up with some surfers around my area.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far my experiences have been all positive. I have met so many great people through the network and hope to continue to meet many more through hosting.

I really love to play any sports, especially ice hockey. I love to read anything that is relevant to my life at the time and I am trying my hand at writing. I also have a passion for cooking. Although I only really know two languages, I would love to learn others.

I guess that I know a lot about Canadian culture and love to teach others who may not know a lot about my country.
I love to learn about food in other countries, music as well as general history.
Learing about great places to see when I travel is important and to learn about other people's philosophies.
