Everytime I see these "about me" boxes i start wondering how difficult it is to describe yourself don't you think? I'll start with my ID information, let's see where that gets us.

I was born in Guatemala City in 1993, named Carla after my dad Carlos, I was raised by both my parents and both of them made my sister and I experience what our country has got to offer.

For you, the reader of my profile, just let me tell you a bit of my love to my country, Guatemala has got so much to offer and the beauty that show to those that won’t let fear intervene, it’s beauty is indeed mesmerizing.

I am a positive person full of energy that wants to enjoy life at its fullest and wants to seize the moment. I’ve already had absorbing jobs and studied at the same time and learned that I want to enjoy life a bit more before I turn 30. I am an open minded person, and quite chatty if you let me. I won´t judge a thing before I try it or get to know its background.

I believe in gender equality and that’s why anytime I get underestimated, or judged for being a girl I get upset. Nevertheless, since I live in mostly sexist country, I understand that sometimes there isn’t much that can be done, but, when I can I try to raise awareness of this issue.

I enjoy doing exercise, I don’t enjoy to rise early though. In exercise and sports what I enjoy the most are martial arts, there is something about kicking and hitting something that lets me relax and sleep well at night. XD

I’m a bit of a chatty person, or so I’ve been told, I believe that I got tired of being the quiet girl in the back when I was bit younger that I feel the need to catch up now hehe.

I find this as a great way to exchange cultures and experiences. i believe that a different point of view lets you get a better picture and, as a whole a better experience. Also a host will be able to see their own city with new eyes.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

well... about music I enjoy different kinds of music, my music taste can go from bachata salsa and reggaeton to rock, alternative, folk and indie, i enjoy music with great lyrics I can relate to, and also i enjoy silly lyrics with a great tune or rythm, Before I judge I listen.

In movies i enjoy comedy movies and those that really get you to feel something you did not expect. i enjoy disney-pixar films. and also action movies.

i can teach a little bit of Guatemalan cuisine. I'm a great chatter (or so i've been told hehehe) I have traveled inside my country and I can share my experiences living in Guatemala and maybe change the way you see my country in the news. Guatemala has got SO MUCH to offer to those willing to know her. :)
