Soy Carla, arquitecta chilena.

Actualmente estoy haciendo un máster relacionado con patrimonio y territorio y viviendo en Padova, Italia. Me interesa mucho cómo viven las personas, cómo se transforman las ciudades y qué historias se esconden en sus rincones cotidianos.

He tenido la suerte de viajar por distintos países de América del Sur y Europa, experiencias que han marcado mucho mi forma de observar los lugares y entender las ciudades.

Me considero una persona curiosa, empática y abierta. Disfruto la literatura, la música y el cine, pero sobre todo pintar. También me gusta cocinar, cuidar los espacios que habito y compartir conversaciones que a veces son profundas y otras simplemente ligeras y agradables.

Para mí, viajar no es solo ver lugares, sino entender cómo se vive en ellos. Por eso me gustan tanto los intercambios auténticos que se dan a través de Couchsurfing.

Si coincidimos, estaré feliz de aportar lo que pueda: cocinar una buena cena, ayudar en casa, cuidar mascotas o simplemente compartir un momento agradable. 🌷

I’m Carla, a Chilean architect.

I’m currently doing a Master’s degree focused on heritage and territory and living in Padua, Italy. I’m fascinated by how people live, how cities evolve, and the everyday stories hidden in their corners.

I’ve been lucky to travel across several countries in South America and Europe, experiences that have shaped the way I observe and understand places and cities.

I consider myself a curious, empathetic, and open-minded person. I enjoy literature, music, and cinema, but above all painting. I also love cooking, taking care of the spaces I live in, and sharing conversations, sometimes deep, sometimes simply relaxed and joyful.

For me, traveling is not only about seeing places but understanding how people live in them, which is why I value the authentic exchanges that happen through Couchsurfing.

If we meet, I’d be happy to contribute however I can: cooking a nice dinner, helping around the house, taking care of pets, or simply sharing a good moment together. 🌷

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd love to meet new people and experience new places from a local perspective, not just as a tourist. I believe meaningful encounters and shared everyday moments are the most beautiful part of any journey. Couchsurfing feels like a space to build those connections.

Interests

I’m passionate about how cities work and change, and how we inhabit them. I also enjoy expressing myself through painting and spending time in creative environments. I love wandering around with a camera, discovering small cafés, and having deep or spontaneous conversations with people from different backgrounds.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a wide range of music: soul, jazz, RnB, psychedelic rock, neo-soul, neojazz, pop, and indie music are some of my favorites.
In cinema, I love emotionally intense films, well-written dramas, and anything visually poetic.
As for books, I enjoy contemporary literature, poetry, and urban essays.
