My name is Carleigh. I was born and raised in a small town in Michigan. I moved to Germany the summer of 2011 to be an Au Pair and to travel as much as I could. I decided I loved Germany so much, I got a job in order to stay. I have been working with children at a Child Development Center for 4 years now. My time is coming to an end in Europe, and I decided to quit my job so I could do about a month of back packing in Europe. I will be heading back to the states in a few months to finish school.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have heard so many positive experiences dealing with couch surfing. I think it would be the perfect opportunity for me to get to know locals, and see places at a reasonable expense. I will most likely be traveling on my own, and it would be cool to meet people that may be able to show me around.
