ABOUT ME

My name is Carles. Actually I am living alone in a flat in Granollers. Near the train station of "Granollers Centre".

(Nos inscribimos como couchsurfers con Ana, pero actualmente solo yo vivo en Granollers).

My friends would probably tell you that I am responsable and pretty quiet. I like wildlife. I am very concerned about the enviroment. I try to use as much organic and local products as we can. I would also tell you that I like comunicate a lot. I get used to be involved in many activities, but last years I have been very busy at the school.

I would like to travel in an alternative and more cooperative way, and I want to help other people to do the same.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can offer a sofa in Granollers, in a sunny and spaceous top-floor apartment with a big terrace (but not luxurious and a bit hot).

Granollers is a small city near Barcelona (35 min by train). It is pretty quiet most of the year, but we have a great town festival at the end of summer (August)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Some years ago Ana and I were in France in diferent places, it was a great experience. I have hosted people during Amma's visits to Granollers.

Intereses

I like teaching , I am also interested in architecture, permaculture, psychology, DIY, tinkering, robotics and arduino,...

I enjoy going to the beach, playing basketball, swimming, riding a bicycle...

I am interested in ecology and environmentalism, organic farming, social projects and activism...

I enjoy good local cuisine.

I loved the period when I lived in comunity in Navarra, in this period I helped to building some straw bale houses.
