About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Have nobility in the way I love others. There's focus in that, it's genuine, it's crystalline, it's pure, and it's available to everybody.

ABOUT ME

Cardamom, Cumin, Coriander, Chilli, Cinnamon, tumeric. I love cooking but its also a great way to experience culture and create metaphors for life. Like curry, life requires many essential spices for rich and vivid experiences. I moved to Brazil when I was a 5 year old and grew up as a brazilian in an american home. Duality in culture has led me to have a passion for travel, culture, people, and change. I can't stay in one place too long without getting the itch to be challenged in a new environment. To make new friends. My greatest and most cherished memories are when I'm in transition, traveling, great victories and defeats. Living a happy life is in your head and heart. Its free and available to everyone. I've also found much joy in life through being creative through digital mediums. Art, Video, photography and websites. A perfect blend of art and science, business and pleasure. Cultivating a harmony of left brain / right brain. Its hard to nurture all my passions but it sure is rewarding. Travel, adventure, discovery and experience consume me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had a few people stay with me, but I am looking to expand my own experiences to new places. I'm super easy to please and would be happy with a small piece of floor to pass out on. I love hosting and I treat visitors like I would my mom. I love showing people neat things that locals do and I want to experience your city through your eyes and not through the eyes of a tourist.

This December January I am traveling with my sister Catherine. Catherine is one of the coolest people I know and is very much like me. She lives in Athens Greece and is living the life. It seems like every two weeks she's going off to another country in europe. I don't know anyone who doesn't like her. I'm going to be introducing her to her first couch surfing experience this DEC 11/JAN 12. Exciting!

Interests

Love futebol. I can't live without it. Futsal, outdoor, pickup anything is good. I cheer for one of the greatest clubs in the world, Sao Paulo.

Art, design, typography, video, photography, web, code, writing are all part of my strengths as a creative scientist. I've never worked a day of my life because I love what I do. An advertising agency called redpepper employs me.

Mopeds!!! Check out the building of my moped. Peugeot 103 baby! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uyzv6VS_XEc I'm the guy with the hat. Even when I'm doing other hobbies like building a moped I'm making videos, websites and doing photography. http://smokingbelt.tumblr.com

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw Rogerio Ceni, Sao Paulo's goalie, score his 100th goal against Corinthians in Sao Paulo. March 2011. He was one of my childhood idols and to see him hit that mark as an adult was one of the most amazing things to be apart of. Greatest sports moment ever. Brazilian futebol games are one of the greatest rushes one can experience.
