ABOUT ME

I have no idea what to write here. I am 24, and am only a few weeks into 'seeing the world'. This was meant to change my life, make me grow up and appreciate things and people. All it has done so far is make me miss my home and the great people I knew there.
I'm working in a pub right now in Sheffield, and I hate it. A lot. The people...leave a lot to be desired. Obviously, it's not my scene. I'm shy, and don't do well with big groups of new people. I like to work my magic one on one. When I say magic, I mean...make conversation. Once I feel comfortable, it may be hard to shut me up.
I'm sarcastic, that's my humour (you may say it's the lowest form, but a lot of people think it's quite funny!).
I'm going on a tour of Europe starting on the 1st of August, and thought I might try couchsurfing for a week or so before then.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life...hoping that I will find the thing I was born to do the rest of my life.
But that's what everyone says, right?
I haven't experienced enough yet to have a catchy or interesting philosophy. I'm actually quite bummed with my life so far, so if I had a philosophy, it would probably be quite a depressing one.
Help me change that!

Well, I would be glad to try out any couches available. That's how I would like to help...until I have a place of my own, than I shall return the favour. Of course.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None as yet. I am a newbie surfer.

Interests

-Photography of pretty buildings 'round the world (not that I have BEEN 'round the world yet)
- Animals of every kind. I like to pat random cats in the street. May come to bite me in the arse one day when I become the person who started the killer 'feline/person-flu virus'.
- Bike-riding. I LOVE it.
- Reading. I love reading crime and action.
- I'm sure there is other stuff I like, but can't really think of it right now.
- I am open to enjoying other peoples interest :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Ok, well, I love the Terminator series, cause I love Arnold Schwarzenegger! I'm into the same ol', same ol' in films. Wayne's World is a classic fave.
I'm not going to list everything, as that would only bore you.
Music - Well, in Australia I was considered to like 'Alternative' music, but then I came to the UK, where 'Alternative' is mainstream'. My life dropped a few 'cool points' the day I realised that. I like a lot of old bands whose new albums slightly suck. Right now, I am listening to Weird Al. It's all about the Pentiums, baby.
I'm a fan of a lot of Aussie bands, such as The Living End, Regurgitator, Area 7, Eskimo Joe.
Books - Usually crime and all that hoo-ha. Great Australian author by the name of Matthew Reilly - check him out, he is bloody awesome at writing action scenes. My claim to fame - I have a picture with him!
And Arnie's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!

Well, that's a lie - I did work in a zoo for a little while where I got to play with spider monkeys. That was fun.

I plan to add to this list, of course.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could um...teach you about fauna fencing in Australia (for the koalas and kangaroos - so they don't get squished by the broom-broom cars!)and how noise barriers decrease noise, but only by a bit :\
To be honest, all I could teach really is how to say sarcastic jokes with a straight face so everyone has to question if what you say is the truth or not.
