Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see the world and learn as much as I possibly can from life.
ABOUT ME
Having lived in the US, France, and Australia, I have spent the last 9 months in Manchester, England pursuing my masters degree in Linguistics. Almost done! In my free time I've become obsessed with Latin dance, and I teach salsa and bachata to beginners, while learning kizomba as well.
PHILOSOPHY
My philosophy is that we are all part of the human religion. We are here to help each other out and to learn from each other, and while we may all have different cultures, we are all part of the human culture. This is the real meaning of life and it makes life worth living!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At this point, I am only able to surf, but when I have a place of my own and a more steady life, I am very much looking to host! By surfing, I am hoping to bring my culture and ideas to new parts of the world and to teach others as much as I learn from them.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had a great couchsurfing experience in Montpelier, where I stayed with two great hosts that shared their city and culture and let us share some of ours in return! I also recently surfed in London with a wonderful couple who were so generous with their time and resources. Great experiences both!

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a little bit of everything in terms of music, from classical to pop to rock.
My favorite books include The Picture of Dorian Gray, Candide, Harry Potter, and A Handmaiden's Tale.
I love movies, and depending on my mood I love action movies, chick flicks, dramas, and comedies. Not big into horror.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just being in the midst of everything in Place Jeema el Fna in Marrakesh, Morocco. Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. Hearing jazz violinist Didier Lockwood do his thing at the Olympia in Paris.
