I'm a typical Dutch girl, love my bike, love our traditions. But the Netherlands are quite small, so it is quite necessary to look across the border.. and that's what I'm doing! One of the best parts of working as a freelance editor/translator is that you can plan your trips easily :) I believe I'm a creative and curious person, eager to learn all about you!

Books (I'm in a non-stop search for yet another bookshelf), translating, talking to people and ask them many questions, riding my bike, cooking and baking (and willing to cook my specialties for guests/hosts!), long walks in the forest, endless conversation over coffee, the seaside, sometimes drawing, horrormovies, did I mention books?

Climbing Europe's highest dune in France, living with the French, go on an archeology trip in Rome (it.was.hot.), work at a publishing house in Amsterdam and actually getting paid to read... That's more than one thing, right? I've always been bad at choosing one thing only...
