CURRENT MISSION

I am currently on a student exchange year in Santa Cruz, California, USA.

ABOUT ME

For the past 4 years I've been studying at the university, I took my bachelors degree this summer. I love being outdoors and experiencing mother nature at her best. My role model is David Attenborough, my dream occupation is doing what he's been doing for the past 40 years.

Then there's also the part of me that hungers for adventure. I love traveling and meeting new people, that's why I've made this Couch Surfing account. I've been all over Europe, and I've also been in Africa and in South America and now North America.

I'm Looking forward to getting to know anyone and everyone that invites me to their home, or just for some company!

PHILOSOPHY

This was quite the tricky question to answer in this fashion. I live for enjoying life and making good memories. I always strive towards being able to stand behind everything I do, I don't want any regrets, but it might be impossible to avoid them entirely.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

It's a great platform for meeting new people you perhaps "normally" wouldn't come across.

I also have a strong belief that in order to fully experience a place you need to hang out with the locals. It has never proved me wrong thus far.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Ink, Trainspotting, anything with Hayao Miyazaki, I'm not gonna list more movies, it wouldn't be fair to all the movies I'm leaving out.
To mention some music, Junip, Gorillaz, Amason, Tussilago, The Knife... The list goes on.
Stephen King, Tolken, JK Rowling, Katherine Kerr, Margaret Atwood. I read a lot, and i like reading fiction.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I had a skinny dip in a strong river below a barrage in the northern parts of Sweden with some good friends. That was an amazing experience. When i were in egypt i saw two manta rays hunting each other, that was also quite amazing. If you wanna know more, i guess you'll have to ask me in real life!
