About Me
**Profile needs updating - about 5 years old! Currently living in San Jose, CR, studying Spanish with my family.
My sister and I are currently backpacking through Europe. We started in Copenhagen, in June. From there, we will hit Bergen and Oslo, then we will be off to Eastern Europe for about 2 months. Both of us are young and new to couchsurfing. Both of us need references to make this trip possible. Please be open to accepting us new couchsurfers! We are super excited to meet all of you cool host and offer y'all ('cause we're from Texas) a piece of our culture!
I am really into coffee and pretty down to earth. I enjoy just chilling or doing crazy and exciting things. I like to read, but Im always too busy to actually do it. I enjoy a fine cigar or pipe, along with a nice local brew every now and then!
Anyways. I am on here, because Im getting ready to embark on my euro trip in June! I am seriously loose with plans for it (currently I have a one-way ticket to Copenhagen), so Im ready and excited to do any last minute things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing has always presented itself to me as a way to express my freedom and individuality. I am excited to actually be immersed in cultures and not just posted up in some hotel, surrounded by things that are meaningless to me. Im excited for the adventures I will have with the awesome people I will meet!
Interests
I am obsessed with the idea of travelling. Ive done it a few times, but nothing super special. I enjoy most music. Some of my favs right now are The 1975, Bon Iver, Radiohead, Jack Johnson. Coffee is my jam! I dont just drink it though, Im an espresso geek, love brewing single-origins, and doing latte art. My favorite brew methods are with either a chemex or aeropress, usually brewing African coffees. I love a fine cigar of the occasional pipe now and then, but I enjoy them most with a nice local brew!

I got the opportunity to study Spanish in Costa Rica for two months. I was 17 and didn't know any Spanish or any other person there. My host parents didn't know a bit of English!
I also bungee jumped from the highest bungee jump in Latin America
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you anything about coffee, all brewing methods, roasting, etc..
Hopefully I can at least be good company to anyone willing to host me. Im not gonna be the "free room and board guy". I am genuinely excited to stay with the locals and I can supply you with whatever you need!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cool stories, good company!! I would love to share a meal, maybe some Tex-Mex or something spicy! Above all, I would so enjoy the company and hearing about the different lives of my fellow host!
