CURRENT MISSION

My wife Aditi and I share the same mission in life, which is to experiment with whatever comes our way. Be it food, travel, hobbies and of course people. We both love meeting new people and ensure we travel for at least a month each year.

ABOUT ME

Spent all of our lives in India. Aditi was brought up in Kolkatta, then moved to Chennai and finally settled down in Mumbai. I've been a Mumbaikar up until now.
Malaysia is an experiment at living and experiencing a foreign land, people, life. So far it's been an incredible trip and it's getting better with each day. The journey however will continue; the question is where next?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The only reason I subscribed to this website is because we both enjoy people. A large percentage of our weekends have been spent entertaining and hosting guests at home. So this seemed like the most organized yet open-ended ecosystem to indulge in the experience. We're open to hosting for the moment. But some time later in 2013, we should be knockin on a few doors around Asia.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've hosted a couple of guests back in Mumbai, which turned out to be a delightful experience. Both times, our guests got well entrenched into the events of our home, be it shopping at the weekend wet bazaar or accompanying us to an out-of-town New Year bash. We didn't have the slightest problem of any sort, to say the least. Which was great for starters.
