Engineer during workdays. Technical stuff is my work; it remains my passion and it pays the bills. But that’s just one dimension of me. Human connection is important and I long for and spend time on culture and exploring. Its good to enjoy food, stories, music, and adventures with a good company opening me up to the fascinating world. Craft beer, coffee or wine is enjoyed best with company and food pairing. I can cook up something and I’m told I’m good at it. I love the transformation of ingredients to a local cuisine. I enjoy Asian, French, Cajun and Creole, artisanal pizza, North African and Tagine cooking. Let’s share food adventures. I’m open to activities, adventures and stories.

Whether it's learning a new language, tasting or preparing food, listening to music, dance, storytelling, and of course being there at the place I am reminded of our humanity. My experience with Couchsurfing is great so far, meeting new friends. I love to meet new people, travel to interesting places and learn about cultures. My interests are cooking, music, cultures, food sampling, sightseeing, photography, networking, and great conversations with good company.

I have been hosting for a while now. I realize how fulfilling this is. Sometimes one visits another place to experience a different culture but sometimes the cultural experience is knocking at one’s doorstep. I met many amazing people - some stayed at my home and some I met and joined their company while visiting my city.
