Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm currently in very small apartment and I can't host people, but I'll be happy to meet travelers and show them around or to discover places together or do things (e.g. hiking in the mountains, going to a new café or restaurant, seeing a concert). I'm new in the community, Evelyn convinced me that it's a good way to meet nice people and travel without too much costs.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I once met a girl from California who was couch-surfing at a friend's house. We spent a crazy night in Venice for the "Carnevale" and we came back to Padova with the first train at 6 in the morning... It was the first time I've heard about Couch Surfing, I think it was in 2007. Then I've met some nice couchsurfers at Evelyn's place and once with one of them (Maxime if I remeber well his name) we rented a car and climbed the Mts Valins up to the Pic du grand corbeau, in the Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean region (Quebec, Canada). It was fun!

Interests

I adore music. Some of my preferred groups are Status Quo, Metallica, Blind Guardian, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, The Corrs, Sheryl Crow, Paolo Conte, Edoardo Bennato, Fabrizio de André, Bandabardò, Modena City Ramblers, Greenday, The Offspring, Emilie-Claire Barlow, Carmen Consoli, Edith Piaf, George Brassens, Joe Satriani... I like cooking and tasting new dishes: sometimes I've even wondered if I should be a cook as a profession. I like photography, but I don't have a good technical preparation or the equipment. I like cats. I like hiking and swimming. I like biking on warm days. I'd like to learn how to dance (especially swing or rock'n'roll) but I think I lack coordination and rhythm.
