Resumen
Sobre mí
I'm a Mexican student currently studying in France as part of a two-year mobility program.
I'm looking forward to get the most out of this experience, to meet new people and places, to learn new cultures and ideologies, and open my mind to this awesome and diverse world we live in.
**UPDATE**
I'm currently finishing my internship and I'll be going on a short trip before returning to my home country. So sadly, I won't be able to host more people for the moment. However, it was an awesome experience and I hope I can re-open my profile in the near future :D
**COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE**
You'll probably won't see many references in my profile. This is due to the fact that almost all the couchsurfers I've ever received where through the account of my roommate (Betty), so if you want further reference you can check out her profile too.
I've received over a dozens of couchsurfers from all Europe (and even from places as far away as Australia), and it has been an amazing international experience. I've learned a lot from other cultures, languages, ideologies, all of which has opened my mind to a whole new level. I highly recommend everyone to try it at least one time in their lives :D
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
I've always thought that one of the best ways to really immerse oneself in a city's culture while traveling is by meeting and spending time with their fellow people.
After a buddy introduced me to the concept of Couchsurfing, I found this really offers us a great chance to create new friendships around the world, and opens a way to share each other culture and interests.
Intereses
I'm really open-minded and I enjoy talking about almost every subject, and while I may not have experience in many things, I'm always eager to listen to what people are willing to share.
However, I'm also passionate for science and technology in all its forms, whether it's about the new discoveries and inventions of the century, to the simplest and most charming things in nature and the Universe.

Música, películas y libros
I pretty much listen to all sorts of music, except maybe heavy metal or dub-step. I play the guitar but my true passion is the piano (there's something magical in it that allows me to express my feelings through the sound of the keys).
Lately, I've been a lot into japanese music, specially UTAU and VOCALOID. My favorite virtual diva is Kasane Teto (重音テト), you can check here one of her amazing interpretations (composed by Asa 亜沙):

As you may guess, I also like anime and in general japanese culture (especially robotics and their gastronomy).
I'm also a fan of The Lord of the Rings and The Legend of Zelda, and I occasionally use to write short stories about high-fantasy or sci-fi.
Regarding books, I'm lately more into dramas and science philosophy opics. One of the most amazing readings was "Feynman's Rainbow: A Search for Beauty in Physics and Life" by Leonard Mlodinow. I highly recommend it to understand why us physicists are so passionate in unveiling the secrets of the Universe.
Algo increíble que he hecho
Striving through hardships and achieving success after many failures. I think that's the spice that makes life so fulfilling.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I can share you anything you want to know about my mexican culture. From gastronomy, to music and traditions, and even some history and politics. Also if you want to practice a bit of Spanish or English I can help you too :)
Mexico is an amazing country full of mysteries and magic, so if you ever have the chance to visit it, you won't regret it.
Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones
Marseille is one of the biggest cities in France, capital of the region Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. Therefore, it has a lot to offer. Where it may be the busy Old Port (Vieux Port) and its small but charming beaches, or the exciting trips to the Calanques (highly entrances to the sea), or the interesting museums and churches.
As a student in Marseille, last year I used to live in a small appartment with one of my best friends. However, in the last year I had to move to an individual room which was too small to host people, so I had to stop couchsurfing for a while. I'm looking forward to opening it once I have my own medium-sized appartment.
