About Me

https://m.facebook.com/carlos.guijarrogallego

Hello! Nice to meet you!

Probably you are checking my CS profile because I've asked you to stay in your place during my US trip.

I'm gonna tell you a bit about myself:
I'm an easy going Spanish guy on his mid twenties whose biggest passions are travelling and music,
I'd finished my degree in marketing specializing in music management a couple of years ago and I decided to move to Lisbon for a while, after a bit I got a job there as a social media analyst in a big company but after several months I was starting to feel bored so I decided to quit and move to Canada with a working holiday visa to keep travelling for a while, now I'm on my way back to Spain but I didn't want to leave North America without travelling from coast to coast in US.

I'd like to mention other hobbies that I have that include jogging, blogging or just walk around a city to discover its hidden places, and I'm always up for a beer and a nice conversation :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel as much as possible, but I want to meet inspiring people during the way, especially local people from every place that I go, I love to hear stories from people from all over the world.
Also I think is an awesome way to get away from the typical tourit spots where everyone goes (and which all look similar at the end of the day).

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a massive music fan, I like lots of styles, but my favorites are americana music (country, blues...), any rock genre (from 50´s rockabilly until metal) and folk music from any place in the World.

Gangster movies ("The Departed", "The Godfather"), crazy comedies (Jim Carrey movies), road trip films ("Easy Rider"), classics ("Forrest Gump"), cult movies ("Trainspotting", "Fight Club") and, of course, Tarantino films.

Regarding books, my favourite authors are Jack Kerouac, Hunter s Thompson, Virginie Despentes, Hemingway, Bukowsky, Noah Gordon...
