About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Good vibe forever! Till the end of the/my time...
ABOUT ME
Independent but human (very human, with an animal side like the rest of the mammal beings). Left-handed and pisces. Non-stop searcher. Quiet almost all the time (there's also a time to have fun), responsible and open-minded. I'm based in Madrid and once in a while I really need to breathe new air, meet new people... that's when I ask for someone's couch for a little while! I use to look for the moon, I love cats.
PHILOSOPHY
To be learning always, keeping eyes and ears as wide open as you can. I love to break my own believes and test them. I try to stay away from the media and the big lies... Break once in a while my comfort zones and rebuilt for there. For the last 15 years I don't watch TV (and that's a funny fact if you dig into my profile). I don't use facebook, nor twitter, and I don't own an Iphone. I prefer a 5 min face to face meeting than an hour of skype.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Excited to host (which should be the final aim of every CSer). I really have a lot to give back. All my experiences as a surfer are still wonderful living memories of all kind of generous and good people, giving what they had. Let's stay together. Let's build a better reality!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Amazing so far. I've just found a bunch of good, nice and generous people! And the most important thing, we've learned on the way. Thank you all!!!
Interests
LIFE! LIFE!! LIFE!!! To answer the big questions: the finite-infinite paradox and to solve the algorithm of the synapsis. Good movies. Good music & live music. Good books. Anything that is good. Well... then comes the question, what is good? Anything that changes me, makes me feel/see/understand. But above all I enjoy meeting people from other cultures and backgrounds, discovering other ways of living and realities. I find also great things in the pure and simple contact with nature.

Directors? Lynch, Cassavetes, Tarkovsky, Welles, Cronenberg, Breson, Fellini, Noé, Klimov, Kurosawa, Ford, Wilder, Tarantino, Erice, Bergman, Mizoguchi, Wenders, Dreyer... so many great movies!!! Well, and I don't know why but I love "Notting Hill" (actually I know why...)
Music: You named it... Jazz (A lot of jazz classics, be-bop, swing, some of free-jazz), Classical (From 11th century to Gyorgy Ligety), Blues, Flamenco (Camarón & Paco de Lucía are always in my heart), Funky, Reggae, Soul, World music... and of course, some pop and a lot of Rock n' Roll and heavier sounds... Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Zappa, King Crimson, Jeff Buckley, Victor Jara (Bless you!) so much good music!!! After my spectacular time in Canada, I have to specify a little bit: Broken Social Scene (don't know this band is a crime), Jason Collett (such a nice person), Feist, Hayden, Kevin Drew, Dan Mangan, Patrick Watson, Leonard Cohen... Oh man, this canadian musicians, they rule!!!
Books: I love spanish & south-american literature. But I have read with great pleasure the beat generation and the gonzo journalism, some sci-fi, Holderlin's Hiperion... Now I'm reading "Looking for Trouble" by General Sir Peter de la Billiere... so you can find me reading a lot of different stuff!!! Many years ago I was deeply impress by Oscar Wilde and I keep my love for his intelligence and sharpness.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once had the chance to attend to a Paco de Lucia (RIP) and Chick Corea's gig, that was amazing! Well the flowered desert in Atacama's desert or the Patagonia was breathtaking also... Of course, the most amazing things, done and seen, can't be told here as you can understand. I'll be happy to share some life experience if you are into it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've been working in the media industry for the last 15 years. So my sickness about movies and music is extreme (If you let me know a new good movie or album, you'll be in my good list forever lol). I know some music & how to play around with a guitar (In 1 lesson you'll be playing the 8 bars blues ;-) I can get along with DSLR cameras. I love to share travellers experiences (I've been in many places of Europe, South America and in some of Africa and North America). And of course, I can teach spanish, how to cook the famous "tortilla de patata" and the "gazpacho" (spanish cold tomato soup, very good for summertime). I enjoy walking and collecting memories of small moments and things.
In return I just want to practice my english (if possible), or to learn esperanto together (if needed), and get to know a little bit of whatever you bring on the way. Musical skills are VERY appreciated. Just bring whatever you can/want to share!
