Overview
About Me
I am a cool, chill guy who loves books, art and music... kinda the hipster type, but wouldn't necessarily label myself that. I grew up in the Bronx and went to a small liberal arts college in nYc (The New School). (Think Parsons.) I love to travel and meet new, open minded individuals. I moved back to Miami after living in Los Angeles. I like dancing and good conversation. Open to new experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is so much better than staying at a hotel. It's cost-effective with a lot more cool benefits. I've made lasting friendships.
Interests
I have over 400 books, which means I read a lot, and I play tons of tennis. I'm actually really good (not to toot my own horn or anything).

Music, Movies, and Books
Wow, this is a loaded field. I love reading everything from novels to theory (from Junot Diaz to Judith Butler). Musically, I enjoy everything minus country, gospel and techno). Favorite bands/musicians include: Portishead, Nas, Nina Simone, Miles Davis, Nine Inch Nails, The Cure, Stone Temple Pilots, Faith Evans, Jill Scott, and on & on.
In terms of movies, I like the indie flicks: Run Lola Run, Y Tu Mama Tambien, All About My Mother, etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I threw my mom a huge surprise party for her 65th birthday; It was pretty awesome.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to absorb knowledge from the minds of other people.
