Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In 2021 I took my first trip partially alone through Europe. On this trip, I met a childhood friend in Switzerland. This friend has been doing CouchSurfing for a long time in Portugal, he usually receives many guests from all over the world, with this, he already knows a lot of people from different places. In Switzerland, he already knew a couple he had hosted in Portugal and they offered him a house in Zurich. As I would also be in Zurich at the same time, they were kind enough to prepare another sofa for me to stay. The experience was incredible. I had traveled a lot before, but this is a very practical way to meet people on the go and, especially, who have some characteristics in common with us.
