ABOUT ME

I am very easygoing and fun! I love to meet new people, travel, seeing new places and discover new cultures. I love nature, and natural wonders. I like to hike and do all sorts of sports. I've tried a little bit of everything, from surfing to skydiving, and I will never say no to new experiences!
I spend most of my time working in robotics research at my University, where I am also giving lectures in computer programming. In my free time I hang out with my friends and family and ride my motorbike or drive my car, my true passions!
I am very spontaneous and I love last minute plans and adventures!
I also enjoy sunny weather, beach, warm summer nights, stargazing and a good red wine, after all we Portuguese have the best wines in the world!..

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed in Germany, USA, Italy and France and I must say that all experiences were great! In fact, some of them were the best parts of my travels! I met amazing people and made friends for life! I also hosted surfers for a brief period of time, while I was studying in Bordeaux and I had a rented apartment. Unfortunately, now I back to Coimbra, and since I still live with my parents I am not able to host. Still, as soon as I get my own house, I will resume my hosting status, as I found all the experiences I've had so far to be truly enriching.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Beautiful Mind, Crash, Life is beautiful, The pianist, City of Angels, Saving Private Ryan, Armageddon, Pirates of the Caribbean, Pearl Harbor, Top Gun, latest 007's, Jurassic Park, LOTR, Star Wars, and the list just goes on and on... :P
As for music I like Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Gun's and Roses, Rolling Stones, AC DC, Van Halen, Eagles, Oasis, Radiohead, and some Italian and Brazilian music also...

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Plitvice lakes in Croatia, probably the most beautiful place I've ever been! And to go there I had to drive all way from Portugal! One of my best adventures for sure! Did also interrail with some friends when I was 17, in the UK. Great and unforgettable experience!

I can teach some engineering stuff maybe? I know kinda boring... :P But I can definitely share some great stories and my energy and joy! :D
