About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Trying to balance my life after college.

ABOUT ME

Hi! I was born in a really small city in México called Irapuato. Moved out of my mom's house when I turned 18 (she still supports me though. she's the best) to Guadalajara, one of the big cities in México.

I studied International Relations for a year and then switched to Communications and Digital Media.

I might be shy at first, I'm quite an awkward and complex person (who isn't) but if you give me some time I get more confortable and love hanging out.

I looovee listening to people and getting to know their stories. I have a terrible memory but I have the firm belief that everything you experience remains with you on way or another, and one of my favourite ways of learning for that matter is travelling and meeting new people/cultures.

It may be to much to say i'm creative but I do like to think every once in a while and try to find many angles and perspectives to stuff. I live to my fullest by having breaking points in my life, like, I don't know, getting out of my confort zone and challenging myself to go further and stuff. Makes sense?

I used to be short-tempered when I was a kid but I grew out of that and now I'm quite calm and might even say happy.

*Recently bought a Cookie Monster hat that makes me happy*
*Loves chocolate*

PHILOSOPHY

It's good to have plans but life is unpredictable, so do as you feel is the best for you without harming others.

Music, Movies, and Books

LIkes stuff like Tarantino, Xavier Dolan, Lynch, etc.

Mostly into pop music but I like getting to know new stuff. Current favourite artist: Asaf Avidan.

Bookwise I love reading human-studies-related theory such as psychology, sociology, anthropology, communications, etc. But I also enjoy novels. I'd say my favourites so far are "La tumba" by José Agustín; Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell; and Larsson's Millennium Trilogy. My problem is I start lots of books but rarely finish reading all of them. :c I'll try to change that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My favourite of all time is probably Whale watching at Los Cabos, México. Whales are beautiful animals and they are extremely happy out in the wild.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've never couchsurfed before. I registered today and went to my first meeting (?) as well. All I can tell is couchsurfers are awesome like-minded people and I wish I had met them before. Being to a new city may be quite a challenge if you're alone.
