About Me

Hi! I´m a person who loves travelling and meeting new friends from everywhere. I studied Civil Engineering in Granada, one of the most beautiful cities of Spain, which I recommend everyone to visit it! The financial and construction crisis in Spain took me to Chile after completing my studies, where I lived for 1,5 years. Afterwards, I returned to Madrid to do my MBA and worked for the Spanish Trade Office in Bogota (Colombia) in 2018. From February 2019 I live in Washington DC (US), where I work for a multilateral organization financing Infrastructure projects in emerging countries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I´m on Couchsurfing because I like meeting new people, sharing experiences and knowing the best places from every city that only locals (or inhabitants) know.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like so many books that it is difficult to pick just a few.

Regarding movies, I like those that make me think twice (or more times, as usually the case), such as Shutter Island, The Illusionist, Inception, among others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I already said a few times that I love travelling didnt I? :P

So in July 2015 I decided to have my first backpack experience and travelled for one month and a half around the north of Chile, Bolivia and Peru. It was such an enriching experience that I repeated it in 2016, but this time visiting Argentina, Paraguay, Brazil and Uruguay, completing the south of South America.

In 2018 I lived in Colombia for a year and also visited Ecuador and Panama.

In 2022 I visited Costa Rica as a backpacker again and continued going up to visit Nicaragua, Honduras and El Salvador. In 2023, I was able able to connect North and South America by visiting Guatemala and Belize (where I dived into the Blue Hole), thus completing the Central America region. I am in love with Latin America because of its people, culture and the common history shared with Spain.

I think not many people can say this, so I consider it quite amazing and feel lucky for it :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I was part of ESN (Erasmus Social Network), a non-profit students organisation where I used to lead the Granada city tour to students from all around the world that were doing a year abroad in Spain, so I could teach and share this knowledge with my couchs and hosts.

What I Can Share with Hosts
