I am simple person. I am open minded but strong in my convictions and strong standing on what is right. I am a serious person and i like the outdoors, nature, cooking, sports, tourism, travel, Trekking, Hiking, Reading, Being informed about the world scene and world events, Doing simple things, Good conversations and positive things.

I never have had any luck in Couchsurfing with someone hosting me so far, and I have done it more to meet people and for cultural experience and meeting someone local. Even though I have sent respectful requests for accommodation. I have helped a few travellers along the way and met some people so that is good. But my experience with supposed hosts is bad. I do not understand why people offer to host but when you contact them is like they dont even answer and some have lots of reviews , but apparently when you contact there is no answer. Also weird requests sometimes are sent when you post a trip.

There might be and are good people on this site , but a lot of people in this site a lot of people that are not honorable or trustworthy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have small tourism business and do tours of Guatemala City and Guatemala. I know all the country. I like to meet people from other cultures and backgrounds and i speak English and Spanish. I can guide and help you out on your trip and give you private tours at basically cost price. Whatever you would spend on tours or transportation, taxis, etc. I can give you a better service and experience showing not only the touristic places but also places that are not promoted or touristic at all. I can give you a quick tour of Guatemala City in half a day or full day and make you feel safe in this city. Many tourist avoid seeing the city and miss out on really knowing Guatemala as this is really the only urban and modern place you will find in the whole country.

I can also give you a tour of ecological and green area parks around and outside of Guatemala City and Antigua where you can see nature and at the same time see the city or towns. Instead of wondering around chicken buses and unsafe transportation or walking around places without knowing where to go let a local guide you. I also can help you with your Spanish, Interpret and help you out with information from here. I prefer to meet up with serious and mature people.
