About Me

I don't want to, one day, have the feeling I miss a life I hadn't lived.

At the very moment I'm researching the idea of "belief" by reading obsessively about fakes and forgeries and hoaxes and cheating because it all belongs to the same story (but that's because I'm a skeptic). Other than that, always trying to figure out the next step. And don't plan too much. Plans go wrong.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a bit of a travel addict, and for me traveling is as much about the place where I am as about the people I meet there. It simply doesn't make sense for me not to stay with the locals because it's through them that I try to understand a bit better the place where I am. And I've definitely had wonderfully amazing experiences and made friends for life since I got into CS. Right now I can't really picture traveling in a different way. Anyway, we can talk about it later...!

Music, Movies, and Books

"Crime and Punishement" and Dostoievski in general, most of Camus essays, Sartre, Agustina Bessa-Luis, José Saramago, David Lynch, Fellini, Goddard, Bela Tárr Manoel de Oliveira, Bjork, Thomas Newman, Messian, minimal, Bach,...it's really difficult for me to write down this kind of information...but for now my top movie is Tarkovski's "Stalker"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Having a Serbian family taking care of me when I was fell sick in Belgrade. To light candles at orthodox churches in Kiev (and it might be relevant to state I'm not religious at all). And, well, so many other things.
