Overview
About Me
I was born in Venezuela but moved to the US at a very young age and have been here ever since. I enjoy many different things from the outdoors (camping, hiking, fishing, biking, my dogs) to the indoors (Netflix, Ping pong, bowling, board games, hanging out, video games, movies, etc.). I work in financial services in Fixed Income Portfolio Management and have recently applied to an MBA program as I continue to seek professional development. I'm 420 friendly, alcohol friendly, and am always looking to make new friends!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting people, be they from my own area or abroad, is always fun. There are stories to listen to and stories to tell, and we're far from alone in this great big world of ours - why not share it?
I'd like to think I'm a good host, and I want those traveling to Austin, TX to get to know what I now consider home and enjoy their time here so why not be an ambassador to the great ATX!
Interests
Too many to name here. I'm a bit of a jack of all trades in that I like a bit of everything. I've got two lovely dogs that I enjoy hiking, camping, and running with. I've got all kinds of equipment stored up from over the years (snowboarding gear, camping gear, fishing gear, kayaking seats, soccer ball, football, tennis racket, phew, too many to keep listing!), and I've also been known to dabble in the more 'nerdy' side of life (board games, MTG, computer programming, etc.) with a mix of the entrepreneur (if you're really curious, you can check out www.mobiusgroup.co!).

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorites are so difficult to pick out the older you get I feel. When I was younger it'd be whatever the flavor of the week was. Now, with such a variety to pick from and so much exposure (you can find anything online...) it's difficult to pinpoint, but we'll try. Favorite Books: Legend of Drizzt Trilogy, Harry Potter series, and anything written by RA Salvatore. Favorite Music: Anything except classical? Currently listening to The Ting Tings before jumping to the classic 50 Cent. Favorite Movies? Wild Wild West, Independence Day, Ironman, Avengers, now this list could go on forever, I have about 1,000 movies now.... yes, I know, that's too many.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Skydiving in Utah was a ton of fun. Kayaking in Austin too. Amazing is such a short sighted adjective. I like to think every experience in and of itself was amazing. The people I was with then and the people I'm with now might've changed, but each memory is just as special, just as *amazing*.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Well, my *couch* is actually a queen pullout so I hope you're comfortable (I've had friends be thankful I bought a pullout before!), and I've also got an additional couch so at least there's plenty of room. You'd be more than welcome to share some time with friends or I can give you pointers on where to go and explore in Austin if you're more for the solo sojourn.
