ABOUT ME

This is always difficult to sum yourself up in one paragraph, but I will give it my best. I'm a very blessed individual as I have gotten the opportunity to travel plenty with my PTA degree including the Hawaiian Islands, Mexico, Peru, Chile (including Patagonia) and Argentina. I've learned through my travels that the best thing about traveling is meeting new people,sharing a dream or two, maybe a drink or two, but most importantly sharing a laugh or two. I enjoy trying new things and exploring new cultures and new ideas.

PHILOSOPHY

"Do onto others as you would have them do onto you" is pretty solid... I live my life to help as many around me as I can. I am a Physical Therapist by trade and half the reason I chose my occupation was to help people and to not just make money for a corporation. I believe we are all here for a reason and it is important to share our gift and help each other out in this crazy planet as best we can ya?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If ever in the Maui area and want to have a cup of joe, or a Mai Thai, or a gatorade???... Come on by! I would love to be your makeshift concierge provided I have the time and tell you where to go in this beautiful little crazy island.

I have only couchsurfed once with a great friend of mine Manuel Miranda and had a wonderful experience hope to have many more soon!

Love Music and Movies and Books. See Below. Also in general I love to watch and play all kinds of sports including soccer (futbol to the rest of the planet ;) Football (Go Bears!), Basketball (Go Bulls!), Hockey (Go Blackhawks!) and Baseball (Unfortunately... Go Cubs!). I love hiking, jumping from waterfalls, having a cup of joe with good friends, running, enjoying an empanada with a coke haha, and basically anything that gets me out of the house!

love movies some of my favorites are Top Gun, Karate Kid, Jerry Maguire (I can quote this one constantly), and one of my all time faves A Few Good Men to name a few. I love music ranging from Michael Jackson, to Frank Sinatra, to The Roots, 2 Pac, Toby Keith, Juanes, Juan Gabriel, Manu Chau and a bunch of different stuff

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to many countries in South America including Peru, Chile, and Colombia! I climbed Machu Picchu in September of 2013 which was...wait for it... Legendary! I also have done the 5 day "Ciudad Perdida" hike in Colombia and done some gnarly ones in the Patagonia. Oh and have jumped off 40-50 feet waterfalls here in Maui which have been very sweet! The Most AWESOME thing Ive done though was I PAID for my mother and father to spend a week in Hawaii and I showed them around which was probably the greatest thing I have ever done in my life. They had never been and my father is in his 80s thus making it one of my sweetest accomplishments ever! Take that 2 older brothers! ;)

Lets see.... I am fluent in 2 languages which is American Spanish and Mexican English.. hehe. Joke. Other way around though I could do that too. I am a Physical Therapist Assistant so I know quite a bit about the human body and in general have a pretty positive outlook on life!
