Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just had my first CS experience. I hosted someone for a few days and the experience was very pleasant. We have the chance to visit some places near my city together.
I have some other hosting experiences prior to CS. As a kid, I remember my parents hosting foreign students in summer at our home.
As a teenager, I spent one summer with two families, in South Barrington, IL (USA) and Montreal (Canada).
A few years ago, my brother hosted a Vienese student in Puebla, Mexico. She and I spent a lot of time together, and become very close friends. I hosted her some weekends in Mexico city, and we did an amazing trip together to Zipolite, Oaxaca. A few years later, their parents hosted my teenager niece in Austria, for a whole year!!!. My brother and I visited her, they hosted us for 10 days! Then we all made an amazing trip to Italy, Czech Republic and Hungary. We are still very close friends!!!
All this experiences made me grow as a person. Thats why i find CS such a great idea and such a big opportunity to meet people and make new friends.
