Music, Movies, and Books
Music: If the music is good I like, I don't mind the genre. I would never stop discovering new music. The only thing I can say is that (usually) the more to the roots the more I like it. Folklore: from Latinoamerica, the Balcans, Celtic, Spanish, Asian... from wherever. Some musicians I cannot avoid to metion: Dire Straist, Jimi Hendrix, The Smiths, The Beatles, Atahualpa Yupanqui, Jorge Drexler, Fabrizio de Andre, Chavela Vargas, Buena Vista Social Club)
Literature: Poetry (Roberto Juarroz, Girondo, Jaime Sabines, Allen Ginsberg, Lorca, Mark Strand, Gil de Biezma, Ángel González, Miguel Hernández, Agustina Storni , Carver...) Narrative (Márquez, Cortázar, Fante, Unamuno, Baricco, Albert Camus, R. L. Stevenson, Tolkien, Borges...) Theatre (Harold Pinter, Beckett, Valle-Inclán, Maeterlinck, Rodrigo García, Koltès, Wajdi Mouawad, Büchner, Caryl Churchill...)
Cinema: Ufff what could I say? I pretty much enjoy whatching good movies and also TV series (I consider some of them good cinema too. I'm gonna mention here some fiction products I definitly LOVE: Olive Kitteridge, Mary an Max, Breaking Bad, Habana Blues, Los Simuladores, Lugares Comunes, The Lord of the Rings, Magnolia, American Beauty, Toy Story, Idioterne, Reservoir Dogs, Amanece Que No Es Poco, 12 Angry Men, Black Mirrow, La Grande Bellezza...)
