About Me

I'm Carlos and consider myself an easy-going person. Curiosity and learning new things have always guided my life . Always looking for improving and becoming a better person.

I enjoy good conversations and spending time with friends.

Yogi, technology enthusiast, traveller and entrepreneur, although not always in that order.

Bikes are my favourite transportation (I'm a Brompton fan!).

I do also appreciate good food and enjoy cooking with others while having a glass of beer/wine and some delicious tapa.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One day I realised the only way to real grow is to discover your own behaviour patterns, keep the useful, discard the useless and establish better ones. Travelling and meeting new people from very different cultures than yours is a fantastic way to achieve this. And it all has to do with sharing, as CS promotes.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Arcade Fire, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Kings of Leon, Radiohead, Jorge Drexler, etc...
I also love good electronic music.

Movies: Into The Wild, Captain Fantastic, Baraka (and Samsara).

Books: Siddhartha and Narcissus and Goldmund.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Huella Andina track with a very special friend! We only carried our backpacks and everything needed to survive by our own! Patagonia is the most beautiful part of the world I've ever seen.

Last year I also did this bike trip with a friend from Madrid to Finisterre (considered the end of the world!!)

Teach, Learn, Share

Althought I don't consider myself a spanish teacher, I've always enjoyed teaching my own language to others willing to learn.

I've been learning how to play ukulele and to drum djembes and darbukas since I was a child.
