About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Sail distant waters!

ABOUT ME

I like to go out in the rain, ride horses, watch seahorses and coral reefs deep in the ocean, take pictures, drive listening to good music, kiss, feel the breeze in my face, have fun and beer with my friends, meet new people, see new places, experience new situations, discover new things. I worked as a photographer in Sao Paulo Zoo, and as a tour guide in the Amazon and Pantanal, and I love nature and nerd stuff.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the sharing about couchsurfing. Makes the world feel much cozier.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First was August 2005, I've stayed in the house of an internet friend who I had exchanged only a couple of messages before, in an art site, and I told her I was going to spend one night in her city, and she said "come to my place!". It was just a few hours I had there, and she got her car and showed me around. After a beer or two and some fried fish on a beach in Negro River, we went back to her place, and I was so tired I slept in her car. She took good care of me. At first I thought it could be somewhat dangerous, but it turned out to be a wonderful experience! Her mother was great too, I've met her in the morning, and she is a biologist and researcher, with much in common to me. And now I hope I can couchsurf all the time I'm away from home!

One month in Europe, March 2006, mostly couchsurfing! That was the trip of my life, met so many nice people, had so much fun!
