I'm goin cross-country on a motorcycle without an itinerary or planned route.

ABOUT ME

I was born in Chile, grew up in Miami and then went to NYU. I've been in NYC ever since, except for a few stints in LA. I have a production company and for the last 10 years I've mostly produced and directed a show called True Life for MTV. True Life has led to extensive travels in the US. This year I premiered my first feature film at SXSW. It's called Burma. I take a motorcycle trip around a different country every summer, and this summer I decided to do my own backyard, so I'm going from NYC to Seattle.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm pretty laid back. I don't lock my door. I leave my car keys in the ignition. But I'm not a hippie or anything. Just low-maintenance.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to this, but thought since I'm going cross-country, it'd be a good way to see some local culture along the way. I don't really have a planned itinerary or route, so hopefully I can find some cool things along the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have a pretty big apt for NY, and a lot of friends and family abroad, so I always have someone crashing in my spare bed. I enjoy the company though.

I like to surf (in the ocean), and I like to ride motorcycles. Other than that, I like to travel.

I like The Walkmen right now. And I'm reading The Corrections. Just finished re-reading a bunch of classics, like East of Eden, To Kill a Mockingbird, etc.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've ridden motorcycles through France, Spain, Morocco, Chile, and a few other places. I've done a lot of crazy things working on True Life, like living in prison for a week, jumping out of a plane, and running with the bulls in Pamplona. Twice.
