About Me

I'm a young guy trying to discover new places and to discover new cultures.
Been travelling throughtout Europe, when I can. My first away trip was to Amsterdam when I was 19, since then I've been to Paris and Wroclaw.
Now I'm planning a Interrail, to discover more cities and to have new experiences.

I have a deegre in Events Management, but I'm currently working as a bartender in a Bar/Pub in Guimarães, my hometown.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I said above I'm planning a Interrail for 2016, so I'm trying to get to know new people and save some money, that can offer me a more personal experiences to their hometown and to their country.

I'm a proud portuguese, and hope to feel the same pride when visiting new places, the same way I show my pride for Portugal and my hometown, Guimarães.

Interests

I'm a enthusiast about music, all sorts of it. That's why my dream job it's in a music festival.

Love to watch football, hanging out with my friends and just enjoy life's little details.
I have +70 football scarves collection, that I love, and I'm hoping that in my trips and can increase it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I helped organize a small students festival, may not seem a lot, but for me that's the most incredible thing ever, when you see that your work is making others happy, having the time of their lifes.
For me, there's nothing more thrilling and exciting then that. That's life right there, the happiness you give to others.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a dark sense of humor, however, there's no truth in any of my jokes, cause deep down I love to help those in need, whenever I can, it's not often, but when possible, i'll do it.

I've learned that money is important, and can give you glimpse of joy, however, people can give you happiness.

I once gave shelter to a duch couple, at 2.00 a.m, while on vacation. I was at my window, and they asked me where they could find an hostel, I told them to wait, went to get my keys, threw them, and told them to come in.
I lived in a old two room house, and was already there with 3 friends.
Me and my friends were leaving at 7.00 a.m, I just told the couple to close the door when they left.
A month later I came back, and everything was clean and tiny. Nothing was stolen, and a thank you note was left in one of the rooms.

With that, I learned that is still possible to trust people, and from that day on, I always give a chance to people, no matter what skin colour, nationality, size, clothes.
We're meant to help, we're meant to be united.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer a good conversation, helping with the house tasks, share experiences and a good laugh.

There's not much that I can offer besides myself and what I am as a person.
Hope it's enough! :)
