About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Relax, nothing is under control!

ABOUT ME

I am a little bit chaotic, just like my hair :-)

I have been changing the way I look I travel. Before I was hungry for places and kilometres. But you don't have to travel much to start seeing similarities between places...

Now, I focus more on the culture and people, who are really unique. And of course try to get a real insight of the local society, looking at what is below the surface. And of course I try to travel as I predicate less flying and more interesting experiences.

This is the website of my organisation Viaje a la sostenibilidad. Ahora tenemos un Curso de turismo sostenible

PHILOSOPHY

I try to make the difference between important things (not things) and non important things (things).

Interests

Sustainability, Travel, Responsible Tourism, movies, documentaries, activism, books, sustainable development & tourism, social change, energy crisis, philosophy, my friend internet and journalism.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to see documentaries that challenge your previous ideas.

These are some of my favourite movies:

Amores Perros (Bitchie Love)
Pulp Fiction
Reservoir Dogs
Todo sobre mi madre (All about my mother)
American Beauty
Amelie

I read mostly news, articles and essays, but literature is always there.

I like 70's music, Led Zeppeling, The Doors... Oh, why didn't i lived those years?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitch-hiked in Saudi Arabia. That was awesome, but girls: don't do it!

I stayed in the Old Town of Sana'a in Yemen, something really genuine.

Flew in a Military plane to Bosnia (50 soldiers, a nun and me). From zaragoza to sarajevo for just one euro. Thanks to SFOR.

Went to Belarus... and got followed by some spies.

Got arrested by the "Brigade Touristique" in Fez, Morocco (It doesn't make sense to me either).

I entered Paraguay without stamp in my passport and later I had to bribe to get out! It was not my fault!

I have been to No Where Festival (European kind of Burning Man): https://www.goingnowhere.org

I have been in the 15-M acampadas (Occupy) of Zaragoza, London and Barcelona!

I illegally crossed the Senegal-Gambia border on a canoe carrying my bike.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Belarus, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Chile, Estonia, France, Kosovo, Lebanon, Mexico, Montenegro, Morocco, Oman, Paraguay, Romania, Serbia, United Kingdom, Yemen

Countries I’ve Lived In

England, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Spain, United States
