About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Re-discover Switzerland and work towards the absolute deconstruction of the ego
ABOUT ME
I am a (forensic) anthropologist from Colombia, working on human rights and AI. I love arts, theatre, dancing (salsa, bachata, hip-hop, you name it!), learning languages, intercultural exchanges, literature, poetry, wine and mezcal!
My work has been focused on the use of technology and data analytics to document/investigate/solve cases of human rights violations and of disappeared persons. :)
PHILOSOPHY
'Al fin y al cabo, Somos lo que hacemos para cambiar lo que somos' Eduardo Galeano
❗- - - Couchsurfing is NOT a free hotel platform!!! Please don't send any request if you don't understand that (!) and make sure you feel identified with the community principles (!) - - - ❗
Please make sure to include the word 'inefable' / 'ineffable' in any request, so I know at least you read this 😋 I refuse ALL 'copy/paste' requests without a second thought. While most dates in my calendar are set as not available, if you send a nice request I'll take it into account :)
I will take this borrowed (and modify it):
I don't believe in Islam;
I don't believe in Buddhism;
I don't believe in Hinduism;
I like Jesus' parables, but I don't believe him to be the son of god but an enlightened person.
I believe in compassion,
I believe in empathy,
I believe in love,
in art, in nature and smiles.
in justice, in social memory, in truth,
I know humanity has its flaws but I still believe in it, because I believe we can still change it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm a bit pressed on time this days, but I'm receiving people when possible.
I'm only interested on hosting people who are actively working to change the world, who are critical of themselves and the society we live in, who value much more knowledge and ideals than physical appearance or status. Please tell me what's the most messed up aspect of our society, and what would you change :)
Conscious, unorthodox, sensible, open minds are my thing :)

Music, Movies, and Books
60s, 70s rock & Roll, Pink floyd, Pearl jam, tango, salsa, classical music, canción protesta, jazz... and anything I have never heard before!!!
always looking for unexpected passions and awakenings in new books, however, I always find myself returning to: Camus, Beckett, Brecht, Borges, Galeano, Joyce, Dostoievski, Chekhov, Kafka, Kadare, Sábato, Neruda...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in the highlands of Peru for two months, no electricity, no water, no bathrooms, no Internet.
I won the second place in intermediate salsa in the national syrian dancing championship in 2015, in Damascus :D
My personal piece of advice: Go and get lost in Latin America!!!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can show you how to create this ancestral "Ojos the Dios" I have worked in for some years with a beloved friend.

I know some juggling, and I will be very glad to teach Spanish. ;) And I know the names, position and function of all the bones in the human skeleton :P
What I Can Share with Hosts
A walk, a dinner or a drink, the most important thing is the cultural exchange :)
