About Me
Hey there!
My name is Carlota, I'm a very happy 19-year-old girl from Barcelona and I'm currently studying Physics at the University of Barcelona and also working in a bank. I'm very new to this so I'm open to learning and meeting new people from very diferent places and cultures, sometimes just to hang out and have a beer or to get lost in a city!
I'm very friendly and open minded, and I'm looking forward to meeting you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love travelling and, specially, visiting cultures from inside. I find this is an amazing way to get to know people and to learn, not only about a place but also about human nature and kindness.

Music, Movies, and Books
I adore music in general, specially rock - my favourite bands are The Velvet Underground, Sonic Youth, The Strokes, etc.
My favourite writer is Virginia Woolf, but I'm also really into realism and naturalism, and also George Orwell, Alice in Wonderland or even Game of Thrones... Oh, man, I love talking about books!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 4 I broke the television's screen because I wanted to meet Winnie the Pooh.
Teach, Learn, Share
I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.
- Henry David Thoreau
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like to talk about almost anything - I'm a very curious person and I love debates so I'm always excited to learn and share. We can talk about science, literature, philosophy or whatever you want to share with me!
Also, I can cook and I'll show you awesome veggie recipes. I'd love you to try my yakisoba noodles!
