ABOUT ME

Back in my lovely hometown, I'm trying to simply enjoy life as it is. With my family and my friends but also new people from all over the world.
I like simplicity of life : enjoying a meal or drink tea with my friends, staying in bed and watch movies when it rains outside, going for a ride with my pink bike or sew and knit for a while.

I am working as an English teacher in middle schools and I love it! Teenagers are so interesting, they make you wonder and question yourself all the time. I try to be as creative as possible to make them being interested in English but also make them question their way of life and get them to be more sensitive about what's going on in the world...

I love art and I would love to share a moment with you and go to the movies, to the theater or to a concert!

For a few years now I try to have a healthier and more eco-friendly way of living. I took part in the zero waste movement for a year now and I am on my way to be vegetarian. Not judging though, don't worry! ;)) I am passionate about the subject and I love to debate about it. I watch tons of documentaries and I try to be active in the change, in my own possible way. Would love to see how you are handling it!

Music, Movies, and Books

Like most people from my generation, I'm addicted to TV shows. I'm trying not to think about the amount of time that I spend watching those...

About movies I can watch pretty much everything except horror movie but I have a crush on old movies (Orson Welles, Fritz Lang, old Polanski's movies) and dramas.
I am really into documentaries (especially about the ocean - don't ask why, I just love them). Some of my favorites : Big Fish, Cowspiracy, Sharkwater, Encounters at the end of the world, Demain, The true Cost...

I can't stop reading (scandinavian) crime books and activist books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was lucky enough to spend one night in the Sahara, climb the Great Wall of China, see the midnight sun in North Cape and swim with a turtle in the Red Sea in Egypt...
Those are some of the most beautiful memories I have from my travels!
