Hi everyone!!! I am Carlotta and I am 24. I live in Casto, a small town, between the mountains and the lake, where there is an adventure park, in the province of Brescia (IT).

In life I am an engineering student and, finally, I am approaching graduation.
I find it very interesting how so many aspects of life can be translated through physics and mathematics!

Among my passions there are the mountains; I love that feeling of fullness you get when you reach the top after a strenuous climb!
In fact, in my spare time I try to escape to do some hiking, when possible even sleeping in shelters or bivouacs, to fully experience the adventure!
I appreciate nature, spend a lot of time at the beach and recently learned to sail, I love it! I absolutely love the feeling of speed and how you become one with the boat, how you need to listen to what is going on around you to avoid ending up in the water ahahah

Besides that I obviously love to travel, to meet new and interesting places and people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I visit a new country I like to immerse myself in the culture of the place and thus avoid doing all those 'tourist' things. That is why I decided to join CouchSurfing, I think it is a fun and exciting way to travel.
Plus the advice from a local person makes the experience even more complete.

I already had an experience with this platform, using a friend's profile, and although the stay was short, living a few hours with with the guy who hosted us was an adventure I will never forget.
I look forward to meeting new people and having more adventures like this!

I read as soon as I have time to do so, I'm trying to read different types of books and currently I'm reading the books that won the strega award (a major Italian award)
