Currently in France for a semester abroad

My name is Carlotta and I am from Germany.

I live there to study cultural studies and digital media, which I truly enjoy.
I would describe myself as a very open and talkative person but at the same time I like to be able to spend time alone and exploring places.

Couchsurfing for me is a great way to meet a city through local eyes (even though this sounds very cheesy but I don't know how else to describe it). Unfortunately after I discovered the app and made first experiences Corona started and travelling wasn't an option anymore. But now I feel like it's safe again :)

I like this app very much but it makes me sad how many times women put on their profile the note that it's not Tinder and not a dating platform - let's please just make it safe for FLINTAs to travel!!

How great is it to meet new people, share some stories and feel like you are meeting a friend and not a stranger?

Intereses

I would consider myself as an open and fun person. Exploring a part of a city, drinking a Spezi (coke and lemonade) while playing Uno or going out- I'm in.
I love the idea of connecting with strangers because we often have a lot in common and can learn of each other.
